Engineering Intern

Tempe, Arizona, USA

Engineering Interns are responsible for assisting the overall project development under the supervision of a head engineer. Engineering interns’ daily routine varies based on current projects of the company. Interns can learn how to plan and execute technical production projects, communicate visions effectively and communicate with a team to accomplish a shared goal. Interns will help with basic tasks and gradually move to more complex projects as their skill sets expand.

Duties & Responsibilites
  • Learn the responsibilities of an engineer
  • Fulfill administrative duties around the office
  • Assist with production related errands
  • Participate in inventory and project tracking
  • Incorporate academic knowledge into hands-on work
Preferred Experience
  • Applicant must be 18 years of age or older
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Recent graduation or current enrollment in an engineering program
  • Willingness to learn new skills
  • Flexible schedule
  • Strong organizational and communication skills

Engineering Administrative Assistant

Tempe, Arizona, USA

Engineering Administrative Assistants provide administrative support for the department including calendar management, presentation preparation, inventory assistance, event coordination, project management documentation and various organizational tasks around the office.

Duties & Responsibilites
  • Coordinate internal and external meetings and help manage calendars
  • General office duties and coordination of team events
  • Assist with organization, storage and inventory of various parts
  • Track project progression and update documentation
  • Prepare meeting agendas and record meeting notes
  • Assist Office Manager with various tasks as required
  • Other duties as assigned
Preferred Experience
  • Applicant must be 18 years of age or older
  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Ability and desire to handle logistical problems
  • Prior work experience in a technology based company
  • Ability to lift 20 lbs objects without assistance, stand for extended periods of time and maneuver throughout the work environment with caution
  • 2 - 5 years experience in an administrative assistant role
  • Experience working with computers in a fully digital environment
